Ok, So Maybe I Don't Hate Chemistry...

Especially since I GOT A 92 ON MY FIRST TEST! Oh my gosh, who would believe it. Thank you, God, thank you, Jason Upton. Without the two of you, it would not have happened. I am learning to rely on God for, yes, even Chemistry tests. He has been faithful to pull me through to this point. And just think, only 3 MONTHS to go...

You totally rock, girl! Congratulations. It's not so hard to teach yourself, huh? You're the greatest sub ever, remember?

Thanks, y'all, tonight was another example of God's grace where this Chemistry thing is concerned. I left an hour early to do a little reading in the parking lot, and once again found myself in tears. This stuff is just never easy, and I don't know why I think it is going to get that way. Anyway, there I am sitting in the parking lot, crying, and so I decided to put the Passion Hymns CD in, and read some Psalms, cause I knew if I went straight in, I would just fight tears the whole time. I prayed for clarity and understanding before getting out of the car, and also for Dr. Spillner's lecture to be understandable. (It has yet to be so for me, hence the "teaching myself" thing). An hour and a half later, I was marveling at how much I understood, when I suddenly recalled that that was EXACTLY what I had prayed for. I spent the rest of the way home completely humbled by how personally God really does love us. It is really hard to believe sometimes. This whole chemistry thing, if nothing else, is teaching me to rely on God in a whole new way. He really is there for every thing we need, no matter how silly it may seem to ourselves and others...
